In a rare stage appearance Dame Joan discusses with director Richard Digby Day her wide ranging career lasting over sixty years. She talks of her early days, her work at the Royal Court, her rise to stardom in London and on Broadway,the establishment of the National Theatre under her husband, Laurence Olivier, together with many memories and stories drawn from her life. She will also discuss some of her greatest roles in Shaw, Chekhov and Wesker.
